Briefly

Following the success of our collaboration on the 2013 collection, our old friends at Hampshire based Titley & Marr again invited us to share ideas for 2014.

This year’s collection is inspired by traditional Ikat (e-kat), a method of dyeing thread that is common in cultures from Central Asia to India and South East Asia.

What we did

Working closely with the client, we took the distinctive ‘tribal’ spirit evoked by the designs and set them in a typically eccentric British context.

PMDC turned photographers, directors, assistants and pack-horses for a two day shoot at local locations to produce another impressive set of images.

Our press-packs present them in (appropriately) postcard form within a simple card wrap, attached to each one is a strip of real fabric, turning every one into a unique example of textile art.
