Hartridges, a family-owned business, is the third largest soft drinks manufacturer in the UK, distributing its own range of juices, mixers and cordials nationwide to pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants.
Acknowledging an increasingly competitive market place, Hartridges enlisted pmdc to review its image and provide packaging design for a wide variety of new products.
What we did
We developed distinctive brand identity that successfully refreshes the brand’s traditional image, while affirming the company’s commitment to product innovation. Impactful and contemporary packaging was developed which has positioned Hartridge’s as a highly credible alternative to brand leaders.
As a tribute to its founding father, Francis Hartridge, we were asked to create packaging for the Celebrated range.
The design brief was to illustrate the authenticity and honesty of the product, communicating its heritage and wholesomeness and recalling the ‘halcyon days of endless summer’.
Without press or marketing support, the brand’s outstanding commercial success won us a coveted Dba Design Effectiveness Award.
